Our Operations Team is looking for an energetic and competitive Logistics Intern who is looking to gain real life experience and learn the ins and outs of the operations side of a growing 3PL. This is a 12 week internship where individuals will gain experience working with our Tracking team, Regional Dispatch Managers, and Carrier Sales team. This program will allow individuals to work on the fast paced and critical area of the carrier facing side of the company. This can be the first step in a path towards what can be a highly lucrative career in the fast paced and rapidly expanding logistics industry.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: (Part time and Full time hours available)
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Obtaining shipment updates from contractors
- Answering Phones (high call volume)
- Negotiating rates with contractors (carrier sales)
- Sending update emails frequently to update parties
- General Data Entry
Success in this position can potentially lead to full time employment opportunities in Operations, Sales, Account Management, Customer Service, or Operations Leadership. QUALIFICATIONS:
A successful candidate must possess the following traits/skills-
- Must be currently enrolled at a college or university
- Computer proficiency (40 WPM+ typing, familiarity and speed with basic Windows app)
- Excellent communication skills
