The right candidate will leverage their sales experience and industry knowledge in order to expand a team of sales representatives. JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage rolling team of new sales representatives, oversight of training, ramp period, and KPI management
  • Facilitate development of sales representatives into next phase of sales journey
  • Develop and maintain cadence of individual and team meetings, providing accountability, insight, and opportunities for coaching and continued development
  • Lead and assist in sales calls, customer visits, and networking events
  • Take hands-on approach, giving real-time feedback to assist sales representatives in outbound process
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and training team to develop and implement sales training and opportunities for continued education
  • Generate and distribute both cold and warm leads to distribute among team
  • Assist in pipeline development of sales representatives, providing both insight and accountability
  • Initiate and oversee cadence of internal competitions/incentives (sales blitzes, outreach gamification, etc.)
  • Lead development of organizational skills and time management
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to implement top-down strategic initiatives
  • Stay up to date on market and industry trends, communicating takeaways to team
  • Facilitate camaraderie across team
  • Effectively communicate team needs to senior leadership, as well as generate buy-in from team members around top-down initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

A successful candidate must possess the following traits/skills:

  • 2 years experience selling OTR freight services
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
